Scarecrow

Scarecrow

I fell in love with RaeInReno's Top Note Scarecrow found on her gallery at Split Coast Stampers here:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2258971 so I thought I would give it try.  Isn't he adorable!  For my version I used Spellbinder's die cuts, the Stampin' Up Bird Builder punch and a paper crimper for his hair. Super easy and a darling decoration for the fall season.  You can tell  he has a warm heart.

Flying Witch Window Display

Looking up the skirt of the Witch window display.

Our local scrapbook and paper crafting store (The Shabby Scrapper) has this wonderful Flying Witch window display.  Isn't she great!  She is made from an umbrella suspended to the ceiling with fishing line.  Her stockings are stuffed and the shoes are also held on with fishing line.  Her broom is suspended as well.  Her wonderful slip is made from tissue sheets folded in to triangles and taped to the underside of the umbrella.  Great idea for a window display.  Kuddos to Angie at The Shabby Scrapper.

Halloween Boo Banner

Halloween Boo Banner

I made my banner panels 5 1/2" x 7" and decorated them with cutouts from several Cricut cartridges.  The witch and bat are a Tim Holtz die cut.  The buttons holding the panels together with hemp are hand made from a flower punch.  The spider is one of the plastic kind you get from the dollar store but I added a spot of orange Stickles to her back.  I also used orangeSstickles on the top of the panels and on the letters.  Thanks for looking.

Halloween 3D Items

These four items were made for a Halloween 3-D Class that I am giving at The Shabby Scrapper on October 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM.  You can choose any halloween or fall paper for your shoe and purse.  The shoe can hold a treat and the purse is ideal for a gift card or money and a little treat.  You also get to make a a bat card and envelope and a coffin treat box.  So if you are in our neighborhood, stop by and learn how to make these fun Halloween 3-D items.

Halloween Cards

Images are cut from a piece of Reminisce paper and backed with BoBunny and Bazill papers.  I used some burlap and ribbon on these simple but cute cards.
