Envelope Punch Board Gift Card Holder

Inkadinkado Horses run like the wind on this card made with the Envelope Punch Board, matchbook style.  Base of the card is Stampin' Up Soft Suede, Designer Washi Tape - Season of Style holds the bottom closed along with some twine.  Quick, easy and super simple for a last minute gift card or cash card.  Sentiment can be stamped on the inside hinged base that pulls up when you open the card to reveal the horses.  I found a video on Youtube by Jackie Topa with all of the instructions, here is the link:

Senior-ita Wanda Sending You A Kiss

Shhh! This is a surprise.  I made this card for my sister for her birthday and sent it off in the mail today.  I love this image by Stamping Bella and knew I had to use it to send my Sis a BIG FAT KISS for her birthday.  Wanda reminds me of our Great-Aunt (looks kinda like her too!)

I made what I call a Camera Lens card, because it reminds me of the shutter on a camera, as it telescopes closed to snap the image.  It was simple and fun to make.  Sis will get a big kick out of this one.

As you open the card the sides pull the lens open...

to reveal that big fat kiss.

MWAHHHHHHH!

This is an A2 card, the base of the card is Stampin' Up Rich Razzelberry.  The designer papers are from a package of Note Cards that I picked up at Marshall's because I liked all of the pretty colors and the heavier weight worked well for the shutter.

I made two more Camera Lens cards:

For these two I used a SU Early Expresso base and BoBunny Mama-Razzi Shutterbug paper.  The camera stamp is by Stampin' Up (retired long ago).  Ok smile is from the It's Your Day set by Close To My Heart, and the Happy Birthday is from SU set Button Bear also long ago retired.

I originally saw this card on Jan Tinklenberg's blog (August 29, 2009) called a Magical Marquee Card. Designed by Susan Cobb.  Jan has a tutorial here:  http://stampspaperscissors.typepad.com/stamps_paper_scissors/2009/08/the-marvelous-magical-marqee-card-video-tutorial.html

Pop Up Box Card

The back of the box is covered in an American Flag napkin, Lady Liberty is stamped in Basic Gray onto Very Vanilla card stock and cut out by hand.  The shiny stars are from a coil purchased at the dollar store.  Two pinwheels made with 1" squares of double sided card stock and attached to flat toothpicks.  The rockets, 1 heart USA and the Liberty Bell were cut out on the Cricut from the Independence Day cartridge.  Flattened bottle caps hold a portion of a K & Company Americana border strip, banners are from the same package.  1/8" ribbon is from Walmart.  Fireworks were stamped embossed in silver. Liberty, Fireworks, Stars and Sentiment are all from Close To My Heart stamp set "Home of the Brave".  Folded card measures 8.5 x 5.25

Stampin' Up Flower Garden Embossing Folder

Two watercolored cards using the Stampin' Up Flower Garden embossing folder.  Canson 90# Cold Press Watercolor paper.

On the first card I colored between the ridges of the embossing.

The second card was watercolored in and over the ridges.

Base of cards and inks are Rich Razzelberry and Old Olive.  Sentiment is from Whimsy Sentiments Collection "Vintage Seed Packets" butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch one colored with So Saffron and the other with the new color Hello Honey.  White Signo gel pen was used on the second card to highlight the darkest areas.  I can't decide which one I like better.

Owl Celebrate Everyday

I made this card for a local workshop challenge:  We were given a package of 37 pieces of Studio g Die Cut shapes and were to make something with them.  I used six die cuts for this owl card and 24 die cuts for the following note cards (some were placed inside the cards):

Colors used to enhance the die cuts are Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip, Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz.  Base of the note cards were cut from Whisper White for a card size of 5x3 1/2.
Various die cut frames and edge punches were also used.

Bookmark

These bookmarks are made using the beautiful "Everything Eleanor" stamp set by Stampin' Up.  This set is so lovely and versatile.  Listed on page 69 of the 2014-15 catalog under the "Wedding" section, but can be used for so much more.  This is a sneak peek at the new In Colors as I used the new 2014-16 "In Color" ink pads collection found on page 179 for this project.
Ordering from the new Catalog begins on June 2, 2014.

Calendar Pages

My work desk 4x6 flip calendar.  All feature Stampin' Up stamp sets, the Post Card background is in the new 2014-15 Catalog on page 31, most of the other stamp sets are long retired.  This is a fun way to use older stamp sets.  May features "Bloomin Beautiful."

June features "Elements of Style."

July features "Liberty for Åll" and Postage Collection.
