My Paper Pumpkin Cute Conversations Valentine Wreath

So many wonderful "alternative" ideas have been shared by my fellow Paper Pumpkin friends.  The inspiration for this Valentine Wreath comes from Gail Emmons over at the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club.  One of the things Gail made with her kit was a really pretty heart wreath, so I CASEd her idea and made one for my Granddaughter to hang in her room.  I changed some of the papers and embellishments for my wreath in making my version.    Thanks for taking a look, you can't beat Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin kits, such a deal for so many supplies and of course all the inspiration and fun ways everyone chooses to use the kits.

Decorative Corner Card

I followed the instructions over at Split Coast Stampers on how to make this Decorative Corner Card, but changed the dimensions to make it a little easier.  Card flattens to mail, finished size is A2, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Card Stock:  110# White cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; scored at 2, 4, 6 and 8".  Tip Top Taupe panels cut at 1 7/8" x 5 3/8" then run through the Boho Embossing Folder. Whisper White

Hello Blue Bird

I made this card for two SplitCoastStampers challenges:

1.  SC573 Sketch Challenge "Tags"
2.  CC563 Color Challenge Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon and Pear Pizazz

I cheated a bit in that my DSP from SU "Going Places" has Mossy Meadow and no Island Indigo, still the colors are close in this swirling watercolor mass.  Card base is Lost Lagoon.  The bird was stamped onto Soft Sky and highlighted with Blendabilities Markers.  The balloon was stamped onto Delightful Dijon and fussy cut, the Hello is

The DSP will be available January 5, 2016 in the Occasions Catalog.  The bird and balloon are from "Honeycomb Happiness" a (free stamp set with any $50 order) in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog also available January 5, 2016.

Tag was cut in Whisper White using the Two Tag bigz die (retired).  Seam binding ribbon in Pool party.

Let The Balloons Fly

Birthday Card made with 110# Whisper White card stock base, I cut a curve off the bottom of the front and poked holes for interest then backed it with some pretty Kaleidoscope polka dotted paper.  Balloons were stamped in Strawberry Slush and Primrose Petals, Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay.  Strings were drawn in with a Stampin' Dazzle Silver Marker.

Old Olive card stock base cut with the new Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.  Matching Designer Paper "Botanical Gardens.  Leaf is stamped and cut from Mossy Meadow.  Flowers were cut from the same Botanical dies and with a touch of Cajun Craze ink with Jewels Basic Rhinstone added to the centers.  Sentiment is from February 2015 Paper Pumpkin "Layers of Gratitude".

Inside of the card was stamped with "Hello" from Stampin' Up 2016 Sale-A-Bration set Hello, free with any $50 purchase from Stampin' Up beginning January 5, 2016.  Flowers are from the Botanicals for You set (another freebie choice with a $50 order)

For this card I used 110# Whisper White and Basic Black card stock.  The background stamp sets used are:  Perpetual Birthday Calendar (Watercolored sky) and Wonderland (tree tops).  Sky and clouds were stamped in Soft Sky.  The airplane was stamped in Basic Black and cut out, dimensionals hold it in the sky.  Frosted Sequins embellishments add texture and interest to the sky.

Soft Sky, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White with ta touch of Pumpkin Pie

I stamped the bird from Honeycomb Happiness (2016 Sale-A-Bration) in Basic Black onto Soft Sky card stock and shaded him with the Soft Sky Marker, then colored his beak and feet with Pumpkin Pie Marker, cut him out and glued him to the Whisper White after stamping the balloon first.  I then stamped the balloon onto Daffodil Delight and cut it out and glued it over the stamped image, and added white gel pen for a hightlight.  Sentiment was made using the Alphabet Rotary Stamp.

Holiday Treat/Money Box

The measurements for this box are as follows:

8 3/4" x 11 3/4" card stock
Score with 8 3/4" side at top of scoreboard at 3 1/4, 4, 7 1/4, 8, and 11 1/4"
Turn and score with 11 3/4" side at top of scoreboard at 3/4, 7 1/2, and 8 1/4"

For the money holder cut a piece of card stock at 2 x 6 3/4" and punch out a half circle in the center top at 3 3/8"

Cut two pieces of designer paper at 2 7/8" x 6 1/2"

Cut one piece of neutral colored card stock for the sentiment at 2 1/2" x 5"

Happy Winter

It's cold outside... so I thought I would make up some little pouches of comfort and joy.  Each pouch contains a packet of Hot Cocoa Mix, a Candy Cane and Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark, yum!
