Happiest Birthday to Shelli



This Birthday Card is for Shelli Gardner at Stampin' Up who celebrates her birthday this month. I used a mix of current and retired SU stamp sets for the background. The photo actually shows a second card I made trying to remember the first card's layout as I forgot to photograph the original card before I popped it in the mail. I am really happy with the way it turned out.

    Bettty; curious what stamp created the bigger swirly in top/back. I don't see it in my set and it looks so different from the front two swirlies.

      Hi, Francine, The bigger swirly in top/back is from the stamp set "Snuggles & Smooches" a Valentine's set from 2015.

    Thank you so much! Am I correct, you did water color first then white embossing powder?

      Francine, I stamped the swirls on water color paper in VersaMark and heat set white embossing powder, then I watercolored. When they were dry I punch/die cut them. The background is SU Whisper White. Have fun with your project. Betty
