Shaved Ice Poinsettia
First I die cut the poinsettia and leaves then Gesso was applied to the front of the card mat, flower and leaves. Mat was covered with Inka Gold Hydrangea and left to dry. Flower was then covered with Crystal Glitter Dimensional paint and dipped in Stampendous Shaved Ice.
Stampin' Up French Script background stamp (retired) was inked up in Versamark and stamped onto the mat, then white embossing powder was heat set. Two corners of the the mat were painted with Crystal Glitter Dimensional paint and dipped in Stampendous Shaved Ice. The leaves were painted with Tattered Angels Glam Glitter Paint in Organic Garden green.
Say What?!?! Nacho Birthday Card
I just love this Stamping Bella - Christine Grove Collection stamp, Nacho is so surprised..."Say What?!?!" This is for my sister who has a milestone birthday this month. Sometimes it is hard to believe that we are all grown up and living far from one another. One thing we will always share is our love of little dogs and I think his expression is priceless.
Used for this card:
Stampin' Up Whisper White and Moonlight DSP
Nacho is colored with Copics

Be Thankful
Watercolored Die Cuts
This is for Split Coast Stampers TLC554 Watercolor Those Die Cuts
First, I watercolored a sheet of Canson 140# XL watercolor paper with Stampin' Up, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Wild Wasabi and Elegant Eggplant inks and water.
Then I stamped three of the leaves from Vintage Leaves stamp set all over the watercolored paper in Tip Top Taupe.
Leaves were die cut with coordinated Leaves Dies, then stamped with Gorgeous Grunge in Elegant Eggplant, dried then stamped again with Versamark and embossed with Recollections Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder.
The edges of the leaves were then dipped into the Versamark and again embossed.
Base of card is 110" white card stock, with a pieces of Elegant Eggplant, Gold Foil and another piece of white card stock dry embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder.
Eggplant leaves were die cut to match the painted leaves and glued the the back of the watercolored leaves at the stems. The leaves were then applied to the woodgrain card stock with dimentionals. A piece of gold twine was tied to the leaf stems.
Sentiment was stamped onto white card stock, gold embossed design and then stamped the sentiment in elegant eggplant and punched it out with the Artisan Label punch. Sentiment was backed with two Elegant Eggplant labels punched out and cut in half to frame the sentiment.

Wobble Owl Birthday Card - Shake your hooty!
Isn't she the cutest little owl ever! I made this for my girlfriend and fellow artist, Maria, for her birthday. Maria's sorority mascot was an owl, so I'm always trying to find a clever card to invoke some great memories.
The card colors are SU Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede. Owl is a digital, enlarged and colored with Copics on Neenah Solar White. And the best part is he WOBBLES! Thus, the sentiment "Shake your hooty!!!"
Stamp set (leaves) from SU World of Dreams, sentiments are computer generated and cut out with the SU Feathers Framelits Dies. Woodgrain embossing folder by Darice.

You Whoo!
I made this card a few years ago and I really enjoyed coloring the clip art baby owl with Copics. Fussy cut the owl and branch, and die cut a hole in the front of the woodgrain embossed card. It sort of looks like he is on a branch on the outside of the tree looking in, thus the blue sky in the background. I will be making a few more of these cards and will post them here later.
