Happy Easter with Stampin' Up May Good Things Grow March 2018 Paper Pumpkin

Alternative:

Made with elements from the March 2018 Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Kit:  May Good Things Grow a piece of Lemon Lime Twist card stock and an Easter Greeting tag from my stash.

Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin March 2018 May Good Things Grow Alternative: Hold On To Hope

I know that almost every family in America, and maybe every family in the world has been touched by cancer, and sometimes they feel that there is no hope.

I made this card for my sister and her grandson both suffering from this horrible disease.  My sister was diagnosed with Leukemia two days before her 62nd birthday last year the progression has been rapid and she is now undergoing chemotherapy, blood transfusions and iron infusion therapy and occasional surgeries to stop internal bleeding.  This last Monday, her grandson and caregiver at just 27 years old, was diagnosed with stomach cancer and will be undergoing major surgery very soon.  He had been treated for acid reflux for years and was being evaluated for surgical repair of a hiatal hernia when they discovered the cancer cells in his stomach tissue.  To add to their stress, he has suffered from IgG Deficiency from birth and extreme caution must be taken to guard against lung damage and infection.

I will never give up hope that we can someday stop the ravages of cancer and the toll that it takes on countless lives.

Please "Hold on to Hope".

Card features:

Stampin' Up March Paper Pumpkin kit May Good Things Grow, Hold on to Hope Stamp Set and dies, Tip Top Taupe ink and card stock (R), Rich Razzleberry 1/2" ribbon, Rose Red card stock, Silver Foil, Wink of Stella.

This is my entry to the Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Red Box Challenge made from the December 2017 Flora & Flutter Kit:

Thick Whisper White card base 4 1/4" x 11, scored and folded at 5 1/2" topped with
4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Berry Burst card stock.
Glimmer Paper from the kit was sponged with Lemon Lime Twist Ink, then 1/4" was trimmed from one side to back the sentiment.  A Calypso Coral Die Cut Element also from the kit was adhered to the Glimmer Paper with Dimensionals then glued to the Berry Burst card stock with Tombow adhesive. Three Berry Burst adhesive backed sequins from the Tutti-Frutti collection were added to the flowers.
The butterfly die from the kit was stamped in Berry Burst onto a die cut also from the kit and adhered with a touch of Tombow adhesive.
Thank You was stamped onto a 1/2" strip of Lemon Lime Twist card stock and adhered wto a 13/16" strip of Calypso Coral card stock, then to the strip of glimmer card stock cut from the background piece.

Bold Botanicals

Stampin' Up August 2016 Paper Pumpkin Bold Botanicals Alternative:

I used one of the Mint Macaron cards from the kit as my base, added a Tangerine Tango frame.  I took one of the Mint Macaron note cards from the kit and cut it in half, stamped the botanicals in Versamark and heat set in black embossing powder.  I then colored the images and uses  white acrylic paint to add dots.  The yellow and black circles were stamped with the bubbles stamp from Mixed Drinks.

Using the new Circles Framelits I cut out a circle from one of the Tangerine Tango note cards to use as a frame for my sequins/glitter.  The gourd and bird are from the retired Feathered Hope stamp set. The sentiment is from Lighthearted Leaves.

Thanks for taking a peek.  Have a great day.

All About Everything

Know What I Like About You?...Everything

Took my cue on this one from the flyer in the March Paper Pumpkin Kit, love this bonus stamp set from Stampin' Up celebrating three years of Paper Pumpkin and One Million kits sold.  To replicate the larger flower, I first inked up the small flower and stamped off for the lighter color then stamped onto the white card stock,  then masked with a cut out to stamp the larger flower in full strength Watermelon Wonder ink.

Watermelon Wonder, Lost Lagoon and Versafine black inks.
Whisper White and Lost Lagoon card stock.

Lovely Little Wreath

Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin Kit for April 2016 "Lovely Little Wreath" two ways:

Happy Spring wreath using Hello Honey Ribbon.

Happy Mother's Day wreath using Cherry On Top Cotton Paper for the flowers.

I purchased four of the kits this month, these two are gifts.  I plan on making one wreath that I can change out the decorations and sentiments to use all year long in my craft studio.

I have one kit for sale $20 plus shipping and I would be willing to sell the extra stamp sets from these kits....let me know if you are interested.

Paper Pumpkin, Pumpkin Pie Boxes

Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
Sweet As Pie, November Kit

I put together a few of these boxes, added SU Pumpkin Pie paper to the top and sides and a strip of craft paper was punched with a scallop punch for the crust.  The whip cream was made by punching six scallop circles out of coffee filter paper and crumpled.  The boxes are filled with treats.  I looking forward to some real pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving.

Hershey Whoppers were poured into candy bags and tied with a twist tie.  "A Prize In Every Box" were made by cutting a piece of 3 3/4" x 4 1/4" piece of paper, folding and taping up the sides around a dollar bill and then taped shut.  Each prize was stamped with a different figure from the Stampin' Up Turkey Talk (retired) stamp set and colored with Design Spectracolor pencils.

Prizes were inserted into the box with the candy and then sealed closed with Stampin' Up Kraft Stickers.

Paper Pumpkin Real Life Journal - Altered

I purchased one of the amazing Stampin' Up PAPER PUMPKIN refill kits, Real Life Journal, and modified it for our granddaughter who starts college next month:

For the cover I used some of the Coastal Cabana designer paper. The journal is 5"x8" so I used a larger doily to decorate the cover.  Spellbinder dies were used for the sentiment on the cover, and the butterfly is SU Papillon Potpourri.  "You're Amazing" is from the Close To My Heart Set, Kudos.

I used the sticker sheet from the kit to decorate each of the designer dividers and pages in the journal along with various inspirational stamps.  I also used 1" binder rings and added 65 pieces of binder paper cut down to just under 5" x 8".

The back of the journal was also decorated with some Strawberry Slush dp.
