Wobble Owl Birthday Card - Shake your hooty!

Isn't she the cutest little owl ever!  I made this for my girlfriend and fellow artist, Maria, for her birthday.  Maria's sorority mascot was an owl, so I'm always trying to find a clever card to invoke some great memories.
The card colors are SU Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede.  Owl is a digital, enlarged and colored with Copics on Neenah Solar White.  And the best part is he WOBBLES!  Thus, the sentiment "Shake your hooty!!!"

Stamp set (leaves) from SU World of Dreams, sentiments are computer generated and cut out with the SU Feathers Framelits Dies.  Woodgrain embossing folder by Darice.

Spooky Cute Owl

Halloween Owl Card or Decoration.  Love those glistening owl eyes.  I used the Sizzix Owl bigz die and cut the owl out with 110# Black Card Stock and scraps.  Copics on the talons and Glossy Accents on the eyes.  Spooky cute!

Night Owl

Also in my stash, I cam across this Monochromatic card from a past class.  I made these cards in pinks, yellows, greens and this blue.  Stamp is Inkadinkado colored with Copics with Stickles added for some bling.

You Whoo!

I made this card a few years ago and I really enjoyed coloring the clip art baby owl with Copics.  Fussy cut the owl and branch, and die cut a hole in the front of the woodgrain embossed card.  It sort of looks like he is on a branch on the outside of the tree looking in, thus the blue sky in the background.  I will be making a few more of these cards and will post them here later.

Halloween Memory Book

Quick and easy Halloween Mini Album
Cover is 5 3/4" x 12" scored at 5 3/4" and 6 1?4"  Spine edge binding is 3" x 5 3/4" scored at 1 1/4" and 1 3/4".  Cover can be decorated as desired.

Inside pages:  10 1/8" x 10 1/8" card stock scored at 5 1/8", quarter turn and score again at 5 1/8"; cut down one score line to center of page, then cut again 1/8" from first cut, this allows easier folding to make the inside pages.  With the cut side to your left fold top page from left to right then down.  Finally fold bottom left page from left to right forming the inside pages.  See photos below.

Pages were decorated with Stampin' Up designer paper: Motley Monsters, ghost is from the Fall Fest stamp set and dies, right side was popped up with pop dots leaving the left side of the ghost free to slide a photo underneath.

Ghost page flipped up.

Witch page flipped open to the left.  Album completely open to reveal four pages for photographs and journaling.

Halloween Two Page Layout

This is an "altered" Scrapbook Fun Addicts kit designed by Terri Zaelit.  I changed the word Owl-O-Ween from the original kit and cut out the word Halloween from Cricut Cartridge Artiste page 77 at 2 3/4".  I love the bright colors used in this layout.

Hello Fall!

Peggy  Noe of Pretty Paper Cards designed this card in watercolor for Paper Pals, her original version can be found here:

http://prettypapercards.com/2015/08/27/fall-hello-for-the-pals/

For my CASED version of Peggy's design I used the same stamp sets SU Tin of Cards, For All Things, and the beautiful Vintage Leaves with matching die cuts.  I added a little Favorite Findings Owl Button to my seam binding ribbon.

Tea Bag Holder / Thank You Card

Thank you card/tea bag holder.

White card stock cut at 3 1/2" x 10 1/2" scored at 3 1/2" and 7"
cut from score line down to edge of card stock on one end to make the envelope for the tea bag.
Decorate as desired before gluing bottom of inside of the card.
I used Stampin' Up Bordering Blooms stamp set and colored with Watermelon Wonder and Pistachio Pudding markers.  Other papers are scraps.  Vellum leaf die cut with Leaflets die, added glue to the edges and dipped in pink glitter.  Bead pin and seam binding dyed ribbon.  Small Olive Branch die by Memory Box.

Nature Walk In The Morning

Inspired, and CASED, by Michelle Zindorf's "In The Morning" card found here:

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1890164?&si=Zindorf

Michelle is the QUEEN OF THE BRAYER technique and I so admire her hand with not only the brayer but a sponge, she is just AWESOME.  Now I am no where near her talent, but I gave it a go for the Splitcoaststampers CC544 Wisteria-Saffron-Coral color challenge.

Always Thinking Of You

Butterflies were cut out with Cricut Cartridge "Picturesque" page 54 in 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and 2" sizes then painted with Viva Inka Gold in Champagne, Hydrangea, and Lime Green.  Flower stamen was used for the antenna.

Flower and Scalloped oval punched out with SU punches and also colored with Inka Gold Carmine Red and Lime Green.

Washi Tape in turquoise flower burst, Gold glitter paper strip and scrap paper from my stash.

Base of card is #110 Vanilla card stock from Michaels.
