Rose-Heart Wreath

A dozen roses cut out with a Spellbinder's spiral rose die from Recollections pink paper, with sponged edges in SU Raspberry Ripple ink and affixed with glue gun to a heart cut from Recollections 110# White card stock at 5 1/4" from Wild Card Cricut Cartridge, page 67.  Pink Ribbon was adhered with glue gun for hanging.

Stampin' Up Valentines 2015

Base of card is Sahara Sand topped with Whisper White stamped with S.W.A.K.  (retired) in various shades of pinks and reds from Stampin' Up.  Sentiment is from P.S. I Love You (also retired).  Tied with some Rose Red ribbon.

My very favorite photopolymer stamp set right now from Stampin' Up "Snuggles and Smooches" so many possibilities with this 12 stamp set at just $15.95, order number 140326.  LOVE IT!  For this first card I first stamped the large swirl and then the Love sentiment.  I used a combination of Stampin' Up Washi Tape for my next background layer topped with the heart from the set punched out with the Sweetheart punch #133786 $15.95.  Finished off with a few pink rhinestones and viola' a really lovely Valentine or Anniversary card.

For my second card I used a pre-made card base from the Sweet Saying Cards and Envelopes (12) #134609 for $2.39 from the Year End Clearance section, what a deal!  After stamping the large swirl, then a 1" x 4" strip of  Pistachio Pudding dotted dsp, and  a strip of washi tape.  I stamped the Snuggles and Smooches in Pool Party and punched it out with a 2" circle punch and added it to the front of the card with dimensionals.  The Oodles of Valentine were stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe, cut out and added along with the heart stamped onto real red and punched out with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack #133787 $16.95, finished off with some sequins for a little bling.

For this card I started with a base of Recollections #110 White card stock.  I used the # 3 and 4 sizes of the Stampin' Up Banners Framelits #132173 $26.95 and cut out two patterns from the Stacked With Love dsp paper pack (Sneak Peek!).  The hearts were stamped and cut out with the Hearts a Flutter set (retired).  Topped off with a small button and some white twine.  A few red rhinestones complete the design.

The following two items are (Sneak Peeks!) of items that will be available in the  Stampin' Up Occasions Catalog coming out on January 6, 2015.

Feeling Twitterpated?  Love this simple cute card.  The stamp set You Plus Me (Sneak Peek!) used for this card will be available January 6, 2015.  I started with a base of Stampin' Up Natural White (love the natural paper flecks in this paper) #102316 $7.50.  I used the new Happy Heart Embossing Folder  (Sneak Peek!) imprinting just two rows at the bottom front of the card.  Above that I scored a line on the scoreboard.  I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler then added some hearts in Cherry Cobbler and Naturals White from the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits folder #125596 $11.95.  Finished off with some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine #123125 $2.95, and two little clear beads.

This Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die  and Bow Builder Punch (Sneak Peek!) are going to be must haves for everyone.  The stamp is from You Plus Me (Sneak Peek!)  Stamped in Rose Red and punched out with a 2" circle punch.  The heart was stamped and punched out with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  A white 2" scalloped circle punch backs the sentiment.

White Christmas Snow Globe Ornament

This lovely ornament was presented at one of my workshops and I thought that it was a great idea for my craft club.   (Originally seen at Creativity Within by Ilina Crouse).  Plastic ornaments were purchased at Michaels, backing card stock was cut out on the Cricut in SU Soft Sky.  I then stamped a 3" circle with SU White Christmas onto watercolor paper and colored in the different elements with SU inks and a watercolor brush.  Snowman and bear were stamped onto another piece of watercolor paper with hills drawn by hand, they were colored, cut out and layered with dimensionals.  Shaved ice glittery plastic pieces were added for snow, and the globe was glued on the edges to the watercolor paper.

Paper Napkin Christmas Card

After adhering a paper napkin to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock, I cut out two each of the ornaments and used dimensionals to put them together over another piece of the napkin adhered to the front of a gate fold card.  I added Wink of Stella and some Stickles for a glittery effect.  A piece of the napkin was also adhered to the flap of an envelope.  The card base is 4x4" and the envelope is
4 3/4" square.

SU Magical Season (retired) was stamped in Lost Lagoon onto a piece of SU Natural White for the inside of the card.

Christmas Gift Tags

Today I would like to share some of the tags made at my recent workshop:

These beautiful tags were made using a base of clear plastic packaging material (like the packaging Cricut cartridges comes in).  Plastic was cut in two inch strips and the tops were punched with the Stampin' Up Scalloped Tag Topper punch.  A 2 1/2" piece of SU Burlap ribbon was run through the Xyron and adhered to the back of the tag, on top of that a 1 x 2" piece of Very Vanilla card stock was stamped with To/From from Winter Post stamp set and glued to the burlap.  The Snowman, Tree and Reindeer were all cut from Cricut cartridges at 3" in Soft Sky.  Tags and design elements were dusted with white acrylic paint and the edges brushed with Vintage Photo ink.  Snowflakes and sprigs were punched from Martha Stewart punches.  Tiny little SU pearls were added along with white sheer ribbon.

Stampin' Up Winter Post, one of my all time favorites, was used on a piece of 2 1/2 x 4 1/4" craft card stock from Michaels, a medium brown grommet was added to hold the ribbon.

Stampin' Up Festival of Trees was stamped over a 2 1/2 x 4" piece of watercolor paper which was first colored with SU Garden Green ink and dried.  Sentiment was stamped in Real Red, ribbon was added to finish.  Super simple, quick and easy.

This 2 x 5" tag was made with paper from the SU Trim The Tree pack, trees were punched with the Tree Punch.  The tag is from the Merry Everything set.

An oldie but goodie!  The great snowman tag was made using the long ago retired Let It Snow set.  Stamped in Momento and colored with Copics.  A little red button was added to his scarf and Glossy Accents was added to his nose and buttons.

Winter Fox tag made with a base of Very Vanilla cut out with a Spellbinders die, I made Rosettes by cutting a strip of retired Christmas paper, punched the edges with the Scalloped edge punch, scored every 1/4" inch and folded.  Fox stamp is from CraftSmart, stamped in Chocolate Chip and cut out.

This sweet little 2 1/2 x 5" Bashful Blue (retired) tag was stamped with a combination of SU Holiday Home and White Christmas stamp sets and highlighted with Pentel Sunburst Gel pen.

Paper Pumpkin, Pumpkin Pie Boxes

Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin
Sweet As Pie, November Kit

I put together a few of these boxes, added SU Pumpkin Pie paper to the top and sides and a strip of craft paper was punched with a scallop punch for the crust.  The whip cream was made by punching six scallop circles out of coffee filter paper and crumpled.  The boxes are filled with treats.  I looking forward to some real pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving.

Hershey Whoppers were poured into candy bags and tied with a twist tie.  "A Prize In Every Box" were made by cutting a piece of 3 3/4" x 4 1/4" piece of paper, folding and taping up the sides around a dollar bill and then taped shut.  Each prize was stamped with a different figure from the Stampin' Up Turkey Talk (retired) stamp set and colored with Design Spectracolor pencils.

Prizes were inserted into the box with the candy and then sealed closed with Stampin' Up Kraft Stickers.

Precious Baby

The foundation for this card is a piece of 110# White card stock.  Stars were added to a piece of Stampin' Up Marina Mist using the SU Stars Decorative Mask and Ranger Texture Paste.  The baby sleeping on the moon is a PSX G-1533 stamp, colored with Copic Markers.  Wink of Stella GL Clear was brushed onto the moon for a sparkly sheen.  Sentiment is computer generated and cut out with the SU Word Window Punch.

Stampin' Up Wood Mount Half Case Cover

For this project, I used a 3 1/4" x 11" piece of Authentique Foundations paper and stamped it with a Stampendous Music Score stamp in Staz-On ink..  The bird cage was cut from the Straight From The Nest Cricut cartridge, page 25 at 3" using SU Very Vanilla card stock.  The flowers are punched from a tiny Bellflower punch by Punch Bunch.  Everything is sponge brushed with Ranger Vintage Photo ink.  I added some lace for texture and some SU basic jewels for bling.  The little key is from my stash as is the wooden bird that was painted with acrylic paints.  Finally the decorated cover was inserted into the sleeve of the acrylic box.

3D Scarecrow

Pick O' The Patch
Close To My Heart  stamp set "Pick O' The Patch"

3D Scarecrow stamped three times onto watercolor paper and colored with Stampin' Up ink pads and a watercolor brush.  Edges brushed with Ranger Vintage Photo ink and a sponge.

Two prints of the scarecrow were painted and then cut out into pieces then added to the base image with dimensional foam tape.

Autumn Accents

Order Bags, that hold the Stampin' Up Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  I thought that this would be a fitting way to deliver the Autumn Accents Die ordered by my customers:

Basic brown lunch sacks, Stampin' Up Autumn Accents Bigz Die, Stampin' Up card stock in Cherry Cobbler, Rich Razzleberry, Cajun Craze and Early Expresso.  After die cutting the leaves, I brushed the edges with White Staz-On Ink.  Stampin' Up Designer Buttons (Brights) tied with a piece of linen thread were added.  Thanks stamp is from Stampin' Up Vintage Verses stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink.

This was not my original idea, I found a card on the internet for South Hill Designs showing these beautiful leaves.

Three panels were made by cutting cardboard to 4 1/2" x 6", spritzing one side with water, then pealing off the top layer to show the rippled cardboard inside.  The edges were sponged with Vintage Photo ink.  I used the Post Card stamp by Stampin' Up and the writing from French Foliage.
