Christmas

Christmas in July.. here are four cards that I made for a Christmas in July promotion using Stampin' Up sets Winter Memories and Winter Post.

Ice Skaters and trees stamped in Memento rich cocoa and colored with Copics, sky is chalked in and dazzling diamonds depict the glistening snow and the bottom of the torn card.

Ice skates from the Winter Memories set were stamped in Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip brown onto watercolor paper and watercolored.  Textured Impressions Holiday Frame was cut out and centered on Real Red card stock.  Sentiment is from Winter Memories set.

Frame embossed on score pad after stamping Lovely as a Tree set for background in Momento Rich Cocoa, sky is colored with Copic marker.  Deer is from the Stampin' Up Winter Post set.

Frame cut and placed on top of card front then opening was sponged with Old Olive in then stamped with Stampin' Up Lovely As A Tree set inking in the trunks with a Chocolate Chip pen.  Snow is DecoArt Snow-Tex.  Sentiment is from Hero Arts December set.  Finished with ribbon and a handmade pen using beads.

By the Beach

Lighthouse watercolor

I attended the opening of a new Stamp Store this last weekend and learned some tips on watercoloring with stamps and markers.  I stamped the scene in StazOn black and watercolored using my Stampin' Up markers and ink pads.  I love the way the lighthouse and seagulls by Art Impressions turned out so peaceful and serene, just like the weather here on the coast today.

Seashells By The Seashore
Continuing the beach theme, I made this card using several stamp sets (Inkadinkado, Art Impressions, K&Co.) and threaded some twine through the grouping along with a button and a golden star.  Papers are Stampin' Up Baha Breeze, Kraft and Vanilla.  I used my markers to color in the seahorse and lightly add pink to the seashells.

Halloween

Flying By

I made this card for the Split Coast Stampers Challenge WT#382 Grab A Tissue.  I used the tried and true faux silk technique with a halloween paper napkin for the background.  Using Spellbinders Nestabilities dies I cut out a frame in black and a smaller white piece for the witch.  I used sponge daubers with Stampin' Up inks Perfect Plum, Pumpkin Pie and Summer Starfruit on the white background then stamped the flying witch from the Close To My Heart set "Fright Night" in StazOn Jet Black.  The card base is Stampin' Up black cardstock.

Pink Paislee Leap

Pink Paislee - Leap by Christy Tomlinson

This Pink Paislee scrapbook page uses the Leap design by Christy Tomlinson.  I paired the lovely yellow and blue paper with light blue and black to make it pop.  Flowers are a Nestabilities die, the greens are Die-namics and Cheery Lyn designs.  Journal tags are from the BoBunny Indigo Bleu Chat Clouds pack.

Pink Paislee Indigo Bleu

Believe

For the tween girl who has Bieber fever...I used a little wooden cutout painted with Copic marker and framed a tiny photo of Justin Bieber, added a charm heart and chain ring, tied with a bow so that it can be removed and used as a key chain, or charm.  The buttons and tag are from the BoBunny Indigo Bleu Chat Clouds and Boutique Trinkets packs.

BoBunny Camp-A-Lot

Camp-A-Lot

For these two layouts I used the fun Bobunny Camp-A-Lot designer paper, trinkets, and stickers.  I made the tent with yellow cardstock, it opens up to hold four photos or journal pages, tent top, stakes and poles were enhanced with Copics.  Tree is hand cut, embossed and popped up on dimensionals, I used hemp twine to string the trinkets from the tent pole to the tree.  The trailers and tent sign were cut from left over paper.  The journalling sign is a Ellison Thick Cuts Wood Sign & Grass die cut.

This was a  simple, easy page.  The trees are cut from a Sizzix Tree die, embossed and popped up on dimensionals.  The folder at the bottom opens up to reveal space for three photos or journal notes.

Graphic 45 A Ladies' Diary

A Ladies' Diary

I love this beautiful Graphic 45 A Ladies' Diary paper.  I adorned these lovely ladies by adding feathers and jewels to their hats, punched and formed flowers around the page along with Maya Road Vintage Lace Mums in Silver Fox color.  Butterflies are Cavallini stamps, stamped twice, painted with Copics, cut out and stacked to make them three dimensional.

The parasol, ladies bosom and flowers on hat are all embossed and popped up on the back to give them dimension.

Using a leftover piece of the above designer card stock, I cut out the the two "friends" and made a card.  Sentiment is computer generated and the fourth mum from the Maya Road package was added.  No scraps left over from these two projects.  I feel great when I can use every piece of designer card stock on a project.
