Today I would like to share some of the tags made at my recent workshop:
These beautiful tags were made using a base of clear plastic packaging material (like the packaging Cricut cartridges comes in). Plastic was cut in two inch strips and the tops were punched with the Stampin' Up Scalloped Tag Topper punch. A 2 1/2" piece of SU Burlap ribbon was run through the Xyron and adhered to the back of the tag, on top of that a 1 x 2" piece of Very Vanilla card stock was stamped with To/From from Winter Post stamp set and glued to the burlap. The Snowman, Tree and Reindeer were all cut from Cricut cartridges at 3" in Soft Sky. Tags and design elements were dusted with white acrylic paint and the edges brushed with Vintage Photo ink. Snowflakes and sprigs were punched from Martha Stewart punches. Tiny little SU pearls were added along with white sheer ribbon.
Stampin' Up Winter Post, one of my all time favorites, was used on a piece of 2 1/2 x 4 1/4" craft card stock from Michaels, a medium brown grommet was added to hold the ribbon.
Stampin' Up Festival of Trees was stamped over a 2 1/2 x 4" piece of watercolor paper which was first colored with SU Garden Green ink and dried. Sentiment was stamped in Real Red, ribbon was added to finish. Super simple, quick and easy.
This 2 x 5" tag was made with paper from the SU Trim The Tree pack, trees were punched with the Tree Punch. The tag is from the Merry Everything set.
An oldie but goodie! The great snowman tag was made using the long ago retired Let It Snow set. Stamped in Momento and colored with Copics. A little red button was added to his scarf and Glossy Accents was added to his nose and buttons.
Winter Fox tag made with a base of Very Vanilla cut out with a Spellbinders die, I made Rosettes by cutting a strip of retired Christmas paper, punched the edges with the Scalloped edge punch, scored every 1/4" inch and folded. Fox stamp is from CraftSmart, stamped in Chocolate Chip and cut out.
This sweet little 2 1/2 x 5" Bashful Blue (retired) tag was stamped with a combination of SU Holiday Home and White Christmas stamp sets and highlighted with Pentel Sunburst Gel pen.
I love your tags in this post! I am wondering what cartridge you used to cut the tree in the top picture. I have searched through the Cricut files and can’t find it. Thanks for you help
